Why Choose Us
About me
I’m Jael Rincón, end-of-life doula and ritual companion from Colombia. My path has been shaped by a lifelong relationship with yoga, meditation, movement, traditional knowledge and a curiosity about the many ways we make meaning of life, loss and change.
My PhD in Design took me into research and time spent with communities in Colombia, Peru and Mexico, exploring corazonar: ways of knowing that bring together thought, feeling, body and heart. When my mother became terminally ill, my work around death and grief became deeply personal. Walking alongside her, and later through my own grief, transformed the way I understand presence, care and accompaniment.
These experiences now shape the way I accompany people through life’s most tender thresholds: dying, transitions, loss and transformation. I weave together presence, ritual, embodiment, yoga and meditation to create a space where you can be met as you are and find your own way through what is unfolding.
